Article(s) publié(s) : Stefano Lazzer received a Bachelor in Sport Sciences at the University of Padova (Italy) in 1996, and a Master in Sport Sciences at the University of Grenoble (France) in 1998. In 2003 he received a PhD in « Human Physiology » (Mentor Dott. M. Vermorel and Prof. Y. Boirie) at the Faculty of Medicine (University of Auvergne, France) and in 2009 a PhD in “Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences” (Mentor Prof. PE di Prampero) at the University of Udine, Italy. From 2000 to 2005 he worked at the Centre for Human Nutrition in Clermont-Ferrand (France) as a PhD student and post-doctoral student, and since 2005 he has been working as a consultant in the Italian Auxology Institute of Verbania, studying energy metabolism in obese subjects during and after weight reduction programs. Since September 2009 he is Assistant Professor on Sport Physiology at the School of Sport Science (University of Udine). His main fields of interest are the physiology of muscular contraction, bioenergetics and cardio-respiratory adaptations to muscular exercise in obese subjects, elderly and athletes.
