In 2014, ECOG launched a unique initiative: a free e-book for doctors, psychologists, physical activity specialists, nutritionists, health workers, and policy makers to provide them with the most recent research and best practices on childhood obesity.
Why this initiative?
Anyone with a general medical or scientific background can use this book. This book is intended to enhance knowledge in a specific field and promote learning on related aspects of the disease; it is also intended to be a teaching tool. It is divided in 11 chapters with a total of 75 articles. Each chapter is available in PDF form and in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Polish.
Our mission is to help the European community at large to fully understand the health, social, psychological and economic impacts of childhood obesity
